The Afghanistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Guild has made significant progress in the first and second quarter of the year by exporting carpets to 30 countries. The top six countries that have shown interest in Afghan carpets are Pakistan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Italy, United States, Netherlands, and. These exports include a variety of products such as combination carpets, kilims, barjastas, and felts.

It is worth noting that the carpet industry in Afghanistan plays a crucial role in supporting the livelihoods of 1.2 million people, many of whom come from poor families (Females). The export of Afghan carpets not only promotes the country's rich cultural heritage but also provides employment opportunities for a significant portion of the population.
